How a QuotedWrong scan and audit work

What the free scan samples, what the paid audit reviews, what you receive, and what the recorded price covers.

A QuotedWrong scan is a short machine sample. A QuotedWrong audit is a person comparing a planned set of assistant replies with your first-party pricing sources. The paid work stops at drafts you approve.

The pages that state the offer are the home page, pricing, audit, method and sample report. This guide uses those recorded facts. It does not add a result the product does not deliver.

Two steps, two claim levels

Each step raises what a finding is allowed to claim. A free scan can point at a possible mismatch. It cannot confirm one. A human-reviewed audit can confirm a comparison against the sources for that review. Neither step sends a correction anywhere until you approve it.

What the free scan does

You enter a domain. The scan samples up to two model responses and compares the pricing claims in them with first-party facts. The extraction is done by machine. The scan is free. Findings stay potential.

Two responses are a sample, not a census of what assistants say. A later reply can differ. The scan does not store the full evidence packet described in saving a pricing answer, and it does not keep checking the same question afterward.

What you should expect from the scan

A short machine read of up to two responses, with findings labelled potential. Use it to decide whether a field-by-field sheet, or a paid review, is worth doing. Do not treat it as a confirmed discrepancy.

A person reviews 28 planned responses from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, across seven question categories, against your first-party sources. Twenty-eight is the planned scope of the review. It is not a count of replies already collected, and it is not a count of errors found.

The comparison is against sources you control or that are first-party for the offer: the pricing page and the facts on it. The method is the place to read how provisional sampling differs from that human review. The sample report shows the shape of the output with illustrative material, not a live customer result.

What you should expect

You receive prioritized fixes and draft correction briefs. Nothing is sent to a platform, a publisher or a public channel without your approval.

What arrives, and what does not

You should expect a reviewed comparison and drafts you can edit or decline. You should not expect an assistant to change its next answer, a publisher to edit a page, or a later sample. Those outcomes are outside the order.

The practical guides on this blog are the worksheets for the same kind of comparison: fact-checking one reply, checking a citation, and reading a starting price. The audit applies that discipline across the planned set. It does not replace the sources.

What the price covers

The recorded price of the human-reviewed audit is €149 or $149, one time. Prices exclude VAT where it applies. The order page shows the amount in the currency presented at checkout. Stripe sets the amount actually charged.

That price covers the planned review, the prioritized fixes and the draft briefs. It does not cover sending those drafts, a second review, or a promise about what an assistant will say later.

What the recorded audit price covers

Prioritized fixesEdits made to your site for you
Draft correction briefsAnything sent to a third party without your approval
One review of that planned setLater samples or an ongoing check

The recorded delivery window is 3 business days after payment. The report is emailed when it is ready. If the report is not delivered in that window, the payment is refunded in full on request.

Checkout is flag-gated. The order page shows whether checkout is currently open. This article does not say that the button is open.

How an order proceeds

When checkout is open, the recorded sequence is:

  1. Pay once. Checkout shows one price in your local currency.
  2. A confirmation email goes to the address you used at checkout.
  3. Sign in with that same email. The sign-in is a magic link. There is no password.
  4. The planned responses are collected, and a person reviews each comparison against your first-party sources.
  5. The report is emailed when it is ready.

Read the current offer on pricing and the audit page before you pay. If those pages and this article ever disagree, the pages win, because they render the recorded offer constants.

Questions

Is the free scan a confirmed audit?

No. It samples up to two responses, extracts claims by machine, and labels findings potential.

Does 28 mean 28 mistakes were found?

No. Twenty-eight is the planned number of responses in the review, across four assistants and seven question categories.

Will QuotedWrong contact a publisher for me?

Not unless you approve it. Correction briefs are drafts. Nothing is sent to a platform, a publisher or a public channel without your approval.

What if the report is late?

The recorded window is 3 business days after payment. If the report is not delivered in that window, the payment is refunded in full on request.
